Research and development on printed photovoltaic modules is performed. The overall goal is to enhance the technology readiness of printed PV in order to make it a market-relevant technology. In this context, one major research topic is to analyze and minimize the efficiency gap between record cells and modules. Printed PV modules are designed and optimized regarding vertical and horizontal architectures and new fabrication processes are developed.
