Abstract

The CROSSGOV project presents new territorial evidence on cross-border integration across Europe. It provides a wider perspective upon cross-border regions – via territorial analyses, while also identifying Cross-Border Functional Areas (CBFAs), using a new methodological framework. CROSSGOV also delivers a first pan-European overview of 199 cross-border governance structures and ten in-depth case studies, developed with stakeholders, illustrating territorial dynamics and patterns, governance structures and development opportunities.
