The cohort of master athletes (MA), defined people older than 35 years taking part in competitive sport events, is a rapidly growing population. This athlete cohort acquires adequate and sport-specific medical care. › Although physical exercise has many positive effects on the cardiovascular system, high levels of endurance exercise are associated with numerous cardiovascular controversies. › In this context, our case report would like to present an example of a MA with exercise-induced cardiac remodeling (EICR), who – at the initial diagnosis of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia – was extremely sensitive to bouts of atrial tachycardia (AT) and reported irregular palpitations during exercise and in the recovery period.
