Abstract

This introductory chapter discusses the aim of the book presented: Reconfiguring our understanding of lived religion and faith through the lens of gendered and queered imaginations, practices, and ideologies. This piece reflects on how the various geographical case studies speak to one another by “taking stock” of commonalities and specificities, different modalities of cross-cutting themes, etc., that run through the contributions.
