Abstract

The tadpole of Leptopelis diffidens is described to complete the data on this new species whose description was published a year earlier. It is compared with the tadpoles of sympatric and parapatric congeners – L. ragazzii and L. shebellensis. The description of the latter is extended and corrected. Hypotheses about breeding seasonality of L. diffidens and L. shebellensis are raised.
