Abstract

Impelled by electromobility and new requirements concerning quantity, quality and innovative designs of drives, production processes for the winding of electric machines gain in importance. Especially established contacting technologies that are used to connect enameled wires electrically and mechanically are not able to keep abreast of this development. This article identifies current requirements for contacting technologies and showcases innovative solution approaches.
