Abstract

Power dividers are required and used in a wide variety of applications. It is often sufficient to halve the power and divide it evenly between two branches. However, if one branch requires more power than the other, a divider with an unequal power ratio is needed. In the presented work, an equal and an unequal Gysel divider were designed, simulated and measured. Compared to other Gysel splitters, the ones demonstrated here have advantages in size, isolation and losses.
