In most applications of biotechnology and downstream processing proteins are stressed in various flow configurations by shear and extensional stress. In this work we present stress experiments of several proteins under well-defined flow conditions. In combination with insitu analytics flow-induced aggregation phenomena and conformational changes can be successfully monitored. In addition to shear and elongation, the contribution of adsorption phenomena to interfaces is investigated.
