Abstract

MIMO SAR (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a new technique that uses multiple transmit apertures and waveforms to improve the performance of future SAR systems and missions. In the beginning of the proposed paper, three types of promising transmit waveforms are introduced, which are suitable for a perfect separation in the receiver by Space-Time-Frequency Adaptive Processing. The paper focuses on the comparison between these waveforms.
