Abstract

This paper presents a fast version of the in [1] introduced algorithm for simultaneous channel tap and DC offset estimation. To start, we breifly review the basic approach from [1]. By decomposing its structure we obtain a mathematically equivalent fast method, which requires only roughly 50\% memory usage and computational power compared to the original work. We conclude, focusing complexity comparisons of the two methods, promoting the novel approach.
