Based on AC-dielectrophoresis, we succeeded to deposit simultaneously individual single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). Using only two bond-wires, the individual tubes are site-selectively deposited onto many pairs of sub-micron electrodes from a surfactant stabilized tube suspension. The presented method goes well beyond previous efforts, in which single bundles of SWNTs were deposited [1-2], and is therefore a step towards a fast deposition and characterization of individual SWNTs. Atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy techniques were used to demonstrate the presence of single tubes trapped between electrode pairs.
