Abstract

Summary form only given. The authors discuss the application of the three-dimensional transmission-line matrix (3D-TLM) method to coupled coplanar waveguide (CCPW)-circuit structures. The 3-D-TLM algorithm with the symmetrical condensed TLM node is used. The circuits are investigated in the time domain by calculating the response for single-pulse excitation. From these results, the frequency characteristics are calculated by fast Fourier transform using zero-padding. The circuit structures are embedded in domains bounded by absorbing walls. The absorbing boundary conditions are modeled by discrete Green's functions. The authors describe the surface impedance of the high-T/sub c/ superconducting material according to the two-fluid model and to the London theory by inductive and resistive stubs.<>
