PROTECT-90 is a publicly available electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation dataset for research on power system protection. It contains 9,022 fault simulation episodes on a standardized 90 kV double-line transmission topology. Each episode provides 1.0 s of synchronized, instantaneous three-phase voltage and current waveforms sampled at 6.4 kHz at eight protection-relevant measurement locations, yielding 48 waveform channels. Machine-readable metadata describe fault type, faulted line segment, normalized fault location, fault resistance, inception time, grid parameters, operating conditions, and topology states. The dataset supports reproducible studies of fault detection, classification, localization, faulted-line identification, and transient waveform analysis. It is a simulated research benchmark, not field measurement data.
