Veit Pirkl was awarded the Siemens Corporate Technology Prize at his graduate ceremony at the Faculty of Engineering on July 3, 2015 for his bachelor thesis "Parallesis of the Frequency-Selective Extrapolation on the Basis of the Xeon Phi Platform" at the Chair of Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing.
